Former Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson might be on his way to finding himself a home for the 2017-18 NFL season.
According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Peterson will be visiting the New England Patriots on Monday, his first such visit with the team.
There has been a lot of speculation as to why Peterson is still on the free agent market, the most common being that Peterson's asking price is far too high. However, as NFL Insider Ian Rapoport pointed out, the former Viking should lower his asking price for teams that are championship contenders, and the Patriots certainly fit that bill.
