60-DAY DISABLED LIST
Select Contract of Chris Gimenez and Option Kennys Vargas
Minneapolis, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed left-handed pitcher Glen Perkins on the 60-day disabled list with a left posterior shoulder strain. Additionally, they have selected the contract of catcher Chris Gimenez and have optioned first baseman Kennys Vargas to Triple-A Rochester.
The Twins roster is now set at 25 with 13 pitchers, two catchers, five infielders and five outfielders.
