Vikings Sign Five Draft Selections, Now Have 10 of 11 Draft Picks Signed

Coley was the Vikings first selection in the seventh-round (219th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft. He contributed as a wide receiver all four years at Miami and saw action at kick returner during his first two seasons. His 166 career receptions rank him second all-time in Miami Hurricane history while also notching top-five ranks in receiving TDs (20, T-4th) and receiving yards (2,218, 5th).

Elflein was chosen in the third-round (70th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. The Pickerington, Ohio native made 41 consecutive starts to close out his collegiate career and earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors in each of his final three seasons. He earned the Rimington Award for the nation’s best center in his lone season playing at the spot in 2016.

Hodges was a sixth-round selection (201th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft. The Virginia Tech product left his mark on the Hokie record books, finishing his career as the all-time leader among TEs in receptions (133), receiving yards (1,747) and TDs (20). He earned his degree in human development in December of 2016.Lee was a seventh-round selection (232nd overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft. The Blue Springs, Missouri native converted from defensive end in high school to linebacker at Kansas State and earned All-Big 12 honors in his final two seasons. He compiled 209 total tackles, 11.0 sacks and 18.5 TFL during his collegiate career.

Tocho was the Vikings fourth selection in the seventh-round (245th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft. He played cornerback in college but will transition to safety for the Vikings. The NC State product appeared in 45 games with 42 starts over his four-year collegiate career. He totaled six INTs, 26 PBUs and 122 total tackles over those 45 games while earning Academic All-ACC honors in 2013 and 2014.
