You know that annoying "i" glitch on your iPhone? Here's how to fix it...

I'm sure you've heard by now, but there's an annoying glitch in the iOS 11 operating system on the iPhone that turns your well intentioned text of the letter "i" into an exclamation point and strange question mark in a box?

It's annoying, makes you look dumb, and now there's at least a temporary fix.

Apple posted an article to their support page with a temporary solution, check out the instructions below to fix the problem on your phone...

  1. Go to your general settings (tap the Settings app, then General). From there, pick Keyboard, then Text Replacement.
  2. Tap the “+” to add a new entry.
  3. In the phrase portion, type a capital “I.” In the shortcut section, type a lowercase “i.”

Another solution to this issue is to download a third-party keyboard like Google’s Gboard, SwiftKey or Swype.
