REPORT: Vikings plan to dress QB Sam Bradford versus Saints

We started breaking down the implications surrounding this scenario earlier this week and now the reports from the national media with "NFL sources" are starting to leak out.

According to Ben Volin, a New England Patriots reporter for the Boston Globe, the Vikings will plan to dress Sam Bradford this weekend, a move that will all but certainly pin Sam as the backup quarterback behind Case Keenum on Sunday.

Bradford had some decent success against the Saints in week one but would serve as the backup for Keenum on Sunday. It would then make it unlikely that Teddy Bridgewater would dress as the team would not carry three active QBs with other depth needs on the roster.

Mike Zimmer will meet the media at 12:15 CT today and likely clear the air on this and the Vikings will have to formerly activate him to make the move complete.
