Wild Shake Off Stars With Three-Goal Second

(St. Paul, MN)  --  The Wild used a three-goal second period to pull away from the Stars for a 5-2 win at Xcel Energy Center.  Matt Dumba scored a power-play goal and assisted on the two other goals in the period to lead Minnesota.  He had three assists total, and Zach Parise scored twice in the win.  The Wild currently hold the third playoff spot in the Central Division.  Jamie Benn and Devin Shore scored goals for Dallas.  The Stars have lost nine of their last 10 games and are five points out of the second wild card in the West with four games left.
