Royals Top Twins In 14 Innings On Escobar Homer | KFAN 100.3 FM

(Kansas City, MO)  --  Alcides Escobar drilled a long home run in the bottom of the 14th inning to give the Royals a 2-1 win over the Twins at Kauffman Stadium.  Jorge Soler walked with the bases loaded in the eighth to tie the game at one for Kansas City.  Scott Barlow struck out five over four hitless innings of relief to earn his first major league win.  Taylor Rogers served up the homer to Escobar and took the loss for Minnesota.  Miguel Sano singled in the Twins' run in the third.  Starter Kyle Gibson struck out eight over seven scoreless in a no-decision.
