This drama that is going on right now with the Minnesota Timberwolves is some of the most edge-of-your-seat entertainment that we've seen in the state of Minnesota in forever.

The latest turn came Saturday night as the Timberwolves signed Karl Anthony Towns to a 5-year, $190MM super max contract effectively drawing a line in the sand between the organization siding with KAT and Jimmy Butler (and maybe Thibs) on the other side.

Following that, news broke that team owner Glen Tayler is forcing his hand against head coach and President Tom Thibideau forcing a trade of Jimmy Butler and forcing it soon.

It's unclear what this will do to Butler's value on the trade market. Butler did provide a list of three teams he would prefer to be traded to, but the Wolves options are wide open.
