There status had been met with serious doubt leading into the Vikings week one matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, but today head coach Mike Zimmer did in fact confirm that LB Anthony Barr and LT Christian Darrisaw were both officially ruled OUT of this weekend's game on the road.
Filling in for Barr and wearing the green-dot communications helmet will be veteran Nick Vigil.
Vigil, who is in his first year with the Vikings, served a similar role with the Bengals for four seasons running a very similar scheme to that which Mike Zimmer brought to Minnesota.
