Hours after acquiring goalie Marc-Andre Fleury from the Chicago Blackhawks, the Minnesota Wild have countered that move by sending goalie Kaapo Kahkonen to the San Jose Sharks in return for defenseman Jacob Middleton.
Middleton, 26 years old, has 9 points, 69 penalty minutes and 89 blocked shots in 45 games for the Sharks this season. Standing 6'3" tall he adds another big body to the Minnesota Wild defense.
