It's becoming a common occurrence for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. with time running out either in the first half or in the game, Rodgers will launch a Hail Mary. For most teams, these passes get batted down incomplete and the half/game will come to a close. Not for the Packers.
Call it skill or call it luck, the Packers simply seem to connect on such passes more often than not and Sunday, in the wild card playoff game against the New York Giants, Rodgers connected once again, finding Randall Cobb in the back of the end zone to extend Green Bay's lead before half.
Admittedly it does appear that Cobb pushes off a Giants defender before making the catch but push off or no push off, it was still a remarkable play.
