(Minneapolis, MN)  --  Josmil Pinto hit a solo home run to help guide the Twins to a 5-3 win over the Tigers from Target Field.  Trevor Plouffe drove in two runs for Minnesota, which has won three of four.  Phil Hughes tossed seven innings of two-run ball for his second win.  Glen Perkins picked up save number six.  Torii Hunter was 3-for-4 with a run scored in defeat.  Victor Martinez homered and knocked in two runs for Detroit, which saw a two-game win streak end.  Starter Anibal Sanchez left in the third inning due to a blister.  Jose Ortega suffered the loss in relief.
