Minneapolis, MN  -
Sunday afternoon saw the Vikings lose their 10th game of the 2014 season. It was a 42-14 drubbing at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals, but how did it affect the Vikings coveted draft positioning heading into the 2014 NFL Draft?

At the time of posting this article, all of the teams in the top 10 of the draft had played (Atlanta plays Monday night).

Here are how the top-ten picks would dole out if the season were to end today, even thought it won't.

*Note: The first tie breaker after record goes to strength of schedule with the team’s having the easiest schedule getting the advantage in draft slots.

Pick
Team
Record
Strength of Schedule
1
Houston Texans
2-13
.556
2
St. Louis Rams (via Washington)
3-12

3

4-11
.502
4
Oakland Raiders
4-11
.515
5
Cleveland Browns
4-11
.515
6
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
4-11
.576
7
Atlanta Falcons (plays Monday night)
4-10
.548
8
Minnesota Vikings
4-10-1
.511
9
Tennessee Titans
6-9
.502
10
New York Giants
6-9
.515

For whatever it is worth, many recent Mock Drafts have Alabama LB C.J. Mosley or UCLA QB Brett Hundley still available at the #8 pick.

Who do you want the Vikings to take if they land the #8 overall selection?
