Minneapolis, MN - One day after the rumors began to surface, the Minnesota Vikings made it official. First published on the team's official twitter account, the Vikings opted to part ways with the Minnesota native after two years of service.
During his time with the Vikings, Carlson caught 40 passes for 387 yards and only 1 touchdown.
Carlson has been plagued with concussion issues over the past four seasons but has claimed that he plans to continue his career under different circumstances heading into the future.
