MINNESOTA WILD ANNOUNCES THREE-YEAR EXTENSION OF PARTNERSHIP WITH CLEAR CHANNEL COMMUNICATIONS
TO BROADCAST GAMES ON KFAN-FM 100.3
SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL) announced today a three-year extension of their partnership with Clear Channel Communications to broadcast all preseason, regular season and Stanley Cup Playoff games on KFAN-FM 100.3, for the next three NHL seasons.
The partnership will continue to feature ‘Wild Weekly’ on KFAN, plus exposure on ‘Beyond the Pond’, as well as full promotional support on other Twin Cities Clear Channel stations Cities 97.1, KDWB, K102, KOOL 108 and KTLK. There will also be pre- and post-game shows, in addition to the popular Wild Fanline post-game shows.
“It’s been a great partnership, and we look forward to continuing to work together,” Wild Chief Operating Officer Matt Majka said.
“The last three years of our partnership have been very fruitful for both parties, and the next three are going to be even better,” said Clear Channel Market President Mike Crusham.
The Wild radio team of Bob Kurtz and Tom Reid and Kevin Falness, together since 2001, will remain the same.
