SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has re-signed forward Jason Zucker (pronounced ZOOK-ER) to a two-year contract (two-way contract in 2014-15 and one-way contract in 2015-16).

He also collected 13 points (8-5=13) in 22 games with the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League (AHL). Zucker underwent successful surgery on March 25 to repair a tendon in his left quadriceps and missed the remainder of the season. He is expected to be fully recovered for the start of the 2014-15 campaign.
He owns 12 points (8-4=12) in 47 career NHL games with the Wild. Zucker has recorded 63 points (32-31=63) in 77 AHL contests with Houston and Iowa. The 5-foot-11, 188-pound forward was born in Newport Beach, Calif., and raised in Las Vegas, Nev. He was selected by Minnesota in the second round (No. 59) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
