The Wild faced off against the Dallas Stars tonight at the
Darcy Kuemper saw his fourth-straight start in the cage tonight. Stopping 31 shots, Kuemper was named the #2 star of the game. Kuemper told the media after the game of his teammates, “I’m confident that if I make the first save that they’re going to be there for the rebound.”
Charlie Coyle told Tom Reid before the game, “[The Stars] can be a pretty dangerous team but I think for the most part we just need to focus on ourselves…and do what we do best out there. I think we’ll get good results if we do that.”

The final period of regulation play opened with the Wild hanging on to a 1-goal lead over the Dallas Stars. Around the nine minute mark, with Kuemper tied up outside of the crease, Suter took over minding the net but couldn’t stop a shot from Alex Chiasson on a power play to tie the game.
The 4-on-4 overtime marked the 12th overtime for both teams this season. Nate Prosser clinched the win for the second consecutive game for the Wild. The goal came at of the five minute overtime, giving the wild the 3-2 win at home over the Dallas Stars.
“It was a great day, all around. Just as a team we are feeling good right now…we all knew on the bench that if we stuck to the game plan we were going to be alright,” Nate Prosser said in a post-game interview.
“It’s a guy just playing the right way and making the right read…if every guy is doing the right thing, their time will come. Obviously the last few games [Prosser] has been huge for us,” Head Coach Mike Yeo said of Prosser’s accomplishments tonight.
