Minneapolis, MN -It's starting to become the norm, but when Adrian Wojnarowski reports it, we basically know that it's true.
According to Woj, "The Minnesota Timberwolves have reached an agreement in principle to send All-Star Forward Kevin Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a protected 2015 first-round draft pick."
The story continues to say the deal will be made with "a firm agreement Love will opt out of his contract in 2015 and re-sign with the Cavaliers on a five-year, $120 million-plus contract extension."
As has been discussed, the deal cannot be finalized until August 23rd at the earliest when Wiggins 30-day contract restriction expires.
While the deal is in place and there has reportedly been a "handshake agreement", the teams are both prepared if the other were to back out.
