Minneapolis, MN - It's been a relatively quiet few weeks on the Timberwolves front now that Andrew Wiggins has signed his rookie deal with the Cavs and a holding pattern has been struck for at least 30-days. But reports today, sparked the excitement once again.

According to ESPN NBA reporter Brian Windhorst, the Timberwolves and the Cleveland Cavaliers have a "handshake agreement" in line that would trade Kevin Love to Cleveland and Andrew Wiggins to Minnesota on or around August 23rd.

"The deal i s done, but not done," Windhorst said in a radio interview Monday. "The teams have agreed, but they can't say they have agreed and they can't agree because we are in this weird moratorium period. Because you can't trade Andrew Wiggins until the 23rd of this month."

Windhorst is simply confirming what has been believed by most for the past few weeks, but it's still got Timberwolves fans up in a tizzy.

Anthony Bennett, last year's number one pick, is also rumored to be in the deal but may not land in Minnesota if a third team gets involved to even things out.
