Eagan, Minn. (April 11, 2018) – The NFL has released the 2018 preseason slate with theMinnesota Vikings opening on the road facing the Denver Broncos during Week 1. The Vikings last visited the Broncos in 1987 for a preseason contest. Minnesota will then return home to host back-to-back games at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Week 2 will bring the Jacksonville Jaguars to the Twin Cities. The Jaguars only preseason game versus Minnesota was last held in 2003 at the Metrodome. The Seattle Seahawks are the Vikings Week 3 opponent. Seattle’s last preseason appearance in Minnesota was in 2010.
The preseason will conclude with the Vikings traveling to the Music City. The Week 4 contest will be held on Thursday, August 30 in Nashville as the Vikings go against the Tennessee Titans. This will be the Vikings third preseason game in Nashville since Mike Zimmer was named head coach in 2014.
All Vikings preseason games can be seen locally on KMSP Fox9 TV while all can be heard on KFAN-FM 100.3, KTLK-AM 1130 and the Vikings Radio Network.
