Kyle Rudolph's Agent Speaks Out to Squash Rumors | KFAN

With the free agency negotiating window set to open up Monday morning allowing teams and players to begin making plans for the 2019 season, rumors are starting to fly around in regards to ancillary moves that would open up cap space for the team's desires.

Here in Minnesota one name that continued to be discussed as a player on the verge of renegotiation to open up cap space in the present was tight end Kyle Rudolph.

Rudy is set to count $7.625 million against the cap this season which is a big number for a tight end in the league. Still today, his agent took the time to speak out to sources sharing that there's no plan for Kyle to renegotiate or relocate anytime in the near future. Here's what agent Brian Murphy said...

“Despite rumors, the Vikings are not in negotiations with Kyle Rudolph, have not asked him to take a pay reduction and have told us explicitly that Rudy will not only be on the team this year, but hopefully for years to come,”
