It was a bit of an up and down year for former Minnesota Vikings left guard Tom Compton here in Minnesota.
On one hand he started 14-games in the NFL. On the other hand, that wasn't necessarily the plan when he signed on with the Vikings and thrust into the position it didn't exactly go well. When free agency came around this season Compton and the Vikings opted to part ways and now Compton has landed with a new team.
According to multiple reports, Compton has signed on with the New York Jets.
The Rosemount, MN native will likely be a depth piece with the New York Jets but could push for more of a role if things go well.
