MN Twins Reinstate Nelson Cruz From Injured List, Option Arraez | KFAN

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN– The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have returned designated hitter Nelson Cruz from his rehab assignment at Single-A Ft. Myers and have reinstated him from the 10-day Injured List. Cruz, who was placed on the Injured List on May 17 with a left wrist strain, recently played in two games on rehab assignment for the Miracle, going 2-for-7. Prior to his injury, he played in 35 games, hitting .270 (34-for-126) with nine doubles, seven home runs, 22 RBI, 14 walks and a .862 OPS.

To make room for Cruz on the 25-man roster, the Twins have optioned rookie infielder Luis Arraez to Triple-A Rochester. Arraez appeared in 10 games for the Twins, hitting .375 (9-for-24) with one home run, two doubles and six runs scored.
