Vikings sign 7th round long snapper Austin Cutting, will report Monday

The Minnesota Vikings announced Monday morning that they have agreed to terms of a contract with their 12th and final pick from 2019 Draft class, long snapper Austin Cutting.

The delay in signing his rookie deal came from extenuating circumstances surrounding Cutting's obligation to serve two-years in the military. According to The Pioneer Press and Chris Tomasson, Cutting will be allowed to serve his two-year commitment as a recruiter for the Air Force concurrently with being allowed to play in the NFL.

Cutting will be competing with veteran long snapper Kevin McDermott as Training Camp officially kicks off Friday morning.
