Predators Beat Wild With Four-Goal Third Period | KFAN 100.3 FM

(Nashville, TN) -- The Predators put up four goals in the third period to storm past the Wild 5-2 in the season opener in Nashville. Mikael Granlund scored 27 seconds into the final frame to tie it before Austin Watson gave the Preds a 3-2 lead at the 1:56 mark. Viktor Arvidsson and Filip Forsberg added goals to seal the win. Pekka Rinne made 22 saves for Nashville. Jason Zucker and Matt Dumba lit the lamp 43 seconds apart late in the second period to stake Minnesota to a 2-1 lead. Devan Dubnyk gave up four goals on 31 shots in the setback.
