Wednesday afternoon brought with it a bit of disturbing news as it became known that Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph had become the victim of a bit of a heist. Kyle obliged, autographed the gloves and handed them over only to find them selling on Ebay three days later (full story below).

Believe it or not though, this story has a happy ending.

The gloves were purchased for $375.00 by a Minnesota Vikings fan from New Jersey that was unaware of the situation behind acquiring the gloves. That fan, Jason King made the decision to donate the gloves to Kyle's charity of choice, University of Minnesota Masonic Children's hospital. Furthermore, King started collected donations via his Twitter account through which he has already donated thousands of dollars to the Masonic Children's hospital.
