REPORT: Adam Thielen's "ankle injury" is a bad cut, prognosis positive

Social media among Minnesota Vikings fans was thrown into a tizzy Wednesday afternoon after Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen popped up on the team's injury report with an "ankle injury" of some sort. The initial reaction was negative as most people assumed it was an ankle sprain of some sort with most expecting the worst.

Thursday morning, news broke from Tom Pelissero that the ankle injury was not a sprain rather is was stitches to a bad cut on his ankle that was incurred during Wednesday's practice. The report even went as far as to say that the initial prognosis for Thielen's involvement in Saturday's game was positive which is great news for Vikings fans.
