According to Frank Seravalli, a Senior Hockey Reporter for TSN, the Minnesota Wild might be on the verge of making a BIG SPLASH as the trade deadline grows closer.
Seravalli is reporting that he has been hearing that the Islanders and Wild are working on deal that would send star forward Zach Parise to New York, compensation back to Minnesota is not known at the present time.
Back in Minnesota, Michael Russo is reporting that despite the rumors of conversations happening, Zach Parise IS in fact practicing with the Wild this morning in St. Paul.
It is expected that if the trade happens the Wild might have to cover some of the remaining contract, though details surrounding this possibility are unknown. The trade deadline hits at 2pm central time so stay tuned to KFAN and KFAN.com for any further news.
