There hasn’t been many positives for the Vikings through the first two-and-a-half quarters against the Falcons. One of the only bright spots in today’s game has been the performance of Justin Jefferson.
Jefferson scored the Vikings only touchdown and it might have come too late as the Vikings let up another touchdown on the following drive. They now trail the Falcons 30-7 as the fourth quarter approaches.
The Vikings first-round pick has been extremely impressive when given his opportunity. He has shown off his sticky hands, YAC ability along with winning on contested catches. At the very least, the Vikings have a young nucleus on their offense that they can build around for years to come. Jefferson now has seven catches for 100 yards and a touchdown on the day.
