(St. Paul, MN) -- The Wild shot three in the net in the first period to give them an early lead in their 5-3 victory over the LA Kings in Saint Paul. Five different skaters found the back of the net for Minnesota, with Kirill Kaprizov scoring his second goal of his rookie season to end the dominant first period. Kaapo Kahkonen saved 32 shots for the Wild, who moved to 5-3-and-0. Anze Kopitar assisted on two of the Kings' three goals in their defeat. Drew Doughty had a goal and an assist. Jonathan Quick made 23 saves for LA, which fell 3-3-and-2.
