(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Twins have submitted detailed plans to the city of Minneapolis of how to allow at least 10-thousand fans to attend their home opener at Target Field, safe and virus-free. Minnesota governor Tim Walz is eager to re-open Target Field but hasn't given the go-ahead for April 8th to allow as many fans as proposed. Governor Walz said that as more Minnesotans get vaccinated, the ballpark can get back to allowing fans at some capacity this season. The Twins open up their spring season in Florida on Sunday against the Boston Red Sox.
