Justin Jefferson’s shoulder injury is reportedly ‘nothing serious’

The Minnesota Vikings and their entire fanbase had an injury scare in the afternoon portion of Friday’s practice. Justin Jefferson went down hard on his shoulder, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that it’s nothing serious.

Jefferson was labeled by many as a snub for the 2020 Offensive Rookie of the Year award after a record setting season. Throughout the first week of training camp the former LSU superstar has shown no signs of slowing down from last year and has continued to play with a chip on his shoulder.

If the Vikings want to find success in 2021, Jefferson will likely be a big reason on the offensive side of the ball. The video that circulated on Friday afternoon of him slamming down on his shoulder was scary, but it sounds as if he shouldn’t miss any significant amount of time.
