DeAndre Hopkins & A.J. Green not participating in Cardinals Wed. Practice

Week #1 was a bit rough throughout the NFL when it comes to injuries. We saw starting running backs go down for the second time already this season in Baltimore, another dropped in San Francisco. There was a starting quarterback out for a long period of time in Washington and a wide receiver in Denver. Injuries seemed to be popping up left and right through week one.

That might have been reflected a bit in both the Vikings and Cardinals "practice reports" that were released on Wednesday.

For the Vikings, they're still without starting linebacker Anthony Barr but rookie left tackle Christian Darrisaw did see limited participation.

Some bigger names did pop up on the Cardinals injury reports as wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green both missed time as well as starting center Rodney Hudson did not participate in Arizona's practice. On the official injury report though all three were listed as "NIR", not injury related rest periods for the veteran players.

This could be just that, it could be a "vet's day" to rest their legs, but it could also be some bumps and bruises to pay attention to.

I would full expect all three to be on the field, but at this point in the race it's something to note.
