As the Minnesota Vikings are wrapping up their preparations for this weekend's game against the Detroit Lions today they've learned in turn that they will be without their starting safety Harrison Smith (Concussion) and rookie cornerback Andrew Booth (Quad) in the game.

Smith missed the final portion of last Monday's game in Philadelphia after suffering a concussion and wasn't able to return in full to the practice field this week. His presence in the concussion protocol has ruled him out of this weekend's tilt against Detroit. Booth has missed the entirety of the season thus far with a quad injury but is supposedly making strides to return to the field soon.

For the Lions, they'll be without DE John Cominsky and G Jonah Jackson as T.J. Hockenson, Aiden Hutchinson, Frank Ragnow and D'Andre Swift remain game-time decisions.
