When I first got my license my dad taught me a handful of things that were pretty specific to the 1994 Toyota Camry that I was allowed to drive. How to pump the breaks and how to parallel park were a few but to this day the one that stuck out to me the most was that on that specific car when the gas light turned on you had about 40 miles to go before you were toast.
I thought it to be a rough estimation back in the day, but now that we have this nifty chart below that highlights exactly how far many of the world's most popular makes and models can go with the "E" light on, I see that he was actually even a little light on his estimation.
