Falcons Robert Alford Gave Us The Greatest Flop Of All Time

The Atlanta Falcons routed the Green Bay Packers Sunday in the NFC Championship Game, 44-21 to clinch their spot in the Super Bowl. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a tough day in many regards, including picking up a rather obvious facemask penalty against Falcons cornerback Robert Alford.

In the second half, the Packers were situated in Falcons territory and desperately looking to get back in the game. Rodgers took a third down snap and took off running, looking to make a play and went to stiff arm Alford but instead ripped the Falcons CB's helmet off, resulting in a facemask penalty.

After the flag was thrown, Rodgers threw a minor elbow towards Alford, sending Alford dramatically falling to turf in what could very well be the worst flop ever.
