Williams Arena is home to the Minnesota Gopher men's and women's basketball teams. It also boasts a very unique feature that not many other basketball teams have seen before: Raised floors.
The court is elevated slightly making the team benches as well as various media spots and seats lower than the floor. That means players on the court must be careful when making plays out of bounds as they will potentially fall off the floor. Indiana's Josh Newkirk experienced that firsthand
After a speedy layup, Newkirk stumbled back to the edge of the raised floor and tumbled off the floor.
Thankfully Newkirk was alright.
