It's shaping up to be a pretty busy week for the Minnesota Timberwolves as the NBA trade deadline is approaching and the Wolves are expected to be busy. That started hot and heavy Monday night when ESPN.com reported that the Timberwolves are interested in New York Knicks guard Derrick Rose.
Rose will be a free agent this summer so his future would be up in the air, but his familiarity with Minnesota head coach Tom Thibodeau makes the fit an interesting one.
There are no reports yet as to what the Wolves have offered.
Rose is averaging 17.7 points per game with the Knicks this season.
