The University of Kentucky men's basketball team has been struggling this season. Don't get me wrong, they're still one of the best teams in the country, but their youth is catching them at times and they're either playing close games that shouldn't be close or they're losing games they shouldn't lose. The former was what happened on Tuesday night.
Taking on a solid yet severely under-matched Missouri team, Kentucky managed to scrape together a one-point lead at halftime, leaving fans of the Mizzou pretty happy. Particularly the student section that began chants of 'Cal you suck' as the Kentucky team walked off the floor and as head coach John Calipari attempted to answer questions for an interview. However, after one question, Calipari seems to get too annoyed and simply walks off.
Whether it was frustration with his team or frustration with the chants is unclear, but clearly Calipari was not having the best first half Tuesday night.
