Oilers' Player Posts Texts From Wife Who Thought He Had Been Traded

The trade deadline in any sport is hard on all players, coaches and general managers. Perhaps such deadlines are even harder on the family members of the players. Edmonton Oilers defenseman Eric Gryba proved that point Monday night.

Gryba, who is currently not being shopped by the Oilers, received texts from his wife who was apparently under the impression that her husband had been traded.

Such texts show just how hard the trade deadline can be, particularly for players and their families.
