This Skiier Has A Death Wish, Sets World Record For Speed Skiing Down A Hill...BACKWARDS!

Some people simply have a little bit of crazy in them. Elias Ambühl is one of those people.

The Swiss skier broke a land speed record of skiing switch (BACKWARDS) when he reached an incredible 131.23kph, or 81.5 miles per hour.

Ambühl broke the record in training earlier this week at Arosa, Switzerland, beating the previous marker of 128.7kph (79.9mph)  set by Norway's Anders Backe in 2013.

Don't blink or you'll miss Ambühl as he flies by!
