Stanford's Christian McCaffrey Could Only Put Up 10 Reps On The Bench Press

For a running back in the NFL, Christian McCaffrey is already considered to be undersized and not the strongest of players. I have a feeling that his showing at the Combine Friday won't improve his case much.

McCaffrey could muster only 10 reps during the bench press portion of his workout, leaving many NFL executives surely wanting more. To compare, fellow backs Dalvin Cook and Samaje Perine put up 22 reps and 30 reps, respectively.

I will certainly not get down on McCaffrey. 10 reps of 225lbs is more than my scrawny arms could manage, but for a running back looking to make it in the NFL, it certainly wasn't the strongest (no pun intended/pun intended) showing for the Stanford product.
