It was announced on Monday that Minnesota Gophers Freshman Guard and Hopkins native Amir Coffey has been named to the All-Freshman team.
Coffey has had a solid first season with Minnesota, averaging 12.0 points 3.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 45 percent from the floor.
