Gophers Guard Nate Mason Named First-Team All-Big 10

It was announced Monday that Minnesota Gophers Junior guard Nate Mason has been named First-Team All-Big 10, becoming the first Gopher player to earn such honors since Vincent Grier in 2005.

Mason has been having a great season, averaging 15.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.4 steals while shooting 38 percent from the floor.

The Gophers' guard helped to lead Minnesota to 23 regular season wins (school record, not including vacated seasons) and the team's best Big 10 finish (4th) in 12 years.
