It was announced on Monday that Minnesota Gophers Sophmore Forward Jordan Murphy was named Third-Team All-Big 10, just one season after being an All-League Freshman.
Murphy had a great season, averaging 11.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor.
The sophmore forward was a big part of the Gopher's regular season success and his improved play is a large reason why the Gophers experienced the turnaround they did from last season to this one.
