It was announced on Monday morning that linebacker Chad Greenway would be announcing his retirement from the NFL at a press conference on Tuesday morning.
To honor a true Viking great, we went back and found the audio from the time PA absolutely lost it when Greenway took a tipped pass from San Diego Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers and returned it 91-yards for a touchdown.
To make the touchdown even more special, he did so in front of 24 of his family members that attended the game that day, including his 82-year old paternal grandfather Tom Greenway who watched Chad play for the first time since the Vikings linebacker was in high school.
It was an incredible moment on a special and memorable day for Greenway.
