The free agent market for offensive tackles is thinning quickly and the Minnesota Vikings have yet to make moves towards any of them. After watching Matt Kalil walk away to the Carolina Panthers, one of the top offensive tackles available, Andrew Whitworth, has reportedly agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Rams.
Whitworth was rumored to be a prime candidate for Minnesota given the Vikings dire need for help at tackle as well as Whitworth's previous relationship with Head Coach Mike Zimmer but the former Bengal opted for Los Angeles instead.
There are only a select few top-tier free agent tackles left on the market and if the Vikings don't move quickly, they could miss out on all of them and be relegated to another season of poor offensive line play.
