Minnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer doesn't hit for a ton of power, Twins fans, well, baseball fans in general, know that. So when he does go deep it's great to see.
Unfortunately on Monday afternoon in the Twins Spring Training game against the Tampa Bay Rays, Mauer went deep and still didn't get a home run as he was robbed at the wall thanks to a leaping catch by Rays outfielder Mallex Smith.
So close, yet so far.
