REPORT: Toledo Running Back Kareem Hunt To Visit With Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings signed free agent running back Latavius Murray last week but is reportedly still looking to add competition to their new-look backfield.

According to Rotoworld NFL Draft, Toledo Rockets running back Kareem Hunt will come in for a visit with the team.

Hunt played four seasons with the Rockets and finished his career with 782 total carries for 4,945 yards (6.32 yards per carry) and 44 touchdowns including a 2016 campaign that saw him rush for 1,475 yards (5.6 yards per carry) and 10 touchdowns.

While many believe Hunt struggles as a pass-catcher, he greatly improved his receiving game last season and had the best season receiving of his career, catching 41 passes for 403 yards and one touchdown.

It is believed that Hunt will go sometime in the late third or early fourth-round of the Draft so if the Vikings are interested, Hunt should be available for them. It all depends on whether they view the aforementioned Murray as a full-time back or as more of a rotational back.
