The Pittsburgh Penguins were taking on the Ottawa Senators when Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby slashed Senators defenseman Marc Methot in the hand. Methot was wearing gloves so surely he wasn't injured, right? WRONG!
When Methot took his glove off he revealed that part of his pinky finger had been slashed off and that the tip was simply dangling from his finger.
Definitely a gruesome thing to see and something surely nobody ever wants to see in the game of hockey, but it happened Thursday night.
